Targeted Audience: Superintendents, Principals, Educational Leaders

Topic: Strategic Planning to Negotiate Change

In this session, Choose Love Strategists will train the administrative team in facilitating strengths-based meetings and other ways to build positive relationships with their stakeholders, and provide support for admin to enlist all stakeholder voices so that they can reflect, adjust and adapt moving forward.

Outcomes:

  • A sustainable roadmap for stakeholder buy-in that solicits, hears, and honors all voices when implementing Choose Love programming.
  • A climate of psychological safety for students and staff.
  • A culture infused with social emotional wellness and Choose Love philosophy.

    Heidi Marlinghaus taught multiple grade levels and was in the classroom for twelve years. She became a teacher because she wanted to help children grow up to have tools they needed to be more successful both emotionally and intellectually in life.

    In addition to Mindfulness and her extensive knowledge of EQ ( Emotional Intelligence), Heidi sought training in many SEL programs and studied how to implement SEL into school communities successfully. Heidi is currently a National SEL Consultant who has been working with large education organizations to support SEL in the school system today.

    At the school level, Heidi worked with SEL Task Force which brought SEL to the school community and enhanced the culture and climate.
