Choose Love Month of Fun will conclude with a celebration of what would have been Jesse’s 15th birthday on June 30th and there’s something for everyone from music to tea to bunnies.
Scarlett will kick off the evening with welcoming words and a special tribute to Jesse.
Next, we officially launch the “I Choose Love” tea blend, and serve up a party of “Tea with Intention”. As we all know, when we reach out with Compassion-in-Action and assist others, we have the opportunity to support healing and wellness in them, as well as ourselves. Tea for two or more is no exception. Get your group together for the tea party, and make this tea launch a community building opportunity full of love on Jesse’s birthday.
Paul Avgerinos will perform his is an American music composer, performer, and producer. Avgerinos toured as a bassist with Charles Aznavour, Liza Minelli, and the jazz legend Buddy Rich, and worked with artists including Jewel, Richie Havens, Run DMC, Deana Carter and the Celtic Tenors. Avgerinos music has been included in 100 film, TV, and cable projects for HBO, PBS, and Lifetime, among others. Paul’s work on Peter Kater’s Red Moon earned A 2004 Grammy Nomination. Paul’s new album GNOSIS placed #1 on the New Age & World Radio Charts. “I recently recorded the audiobook version of “Nurturing Healing Love.” It was such a powerful and moving experience that I cried through most of the session. Scarlett and Jesse are absolutely correct that we need to teach our children to Choose Love always and especially in difficult and tense situations,” stated Avgerinos.
We’ll take time for healing, hope and hoppiness with the Peacebunnies. Enjoy spending time with a comfort bunnies who have been rescued and live on their own island in Minnesota. Featured in People, Peacebunnies was created by a kid-entreprenuer who wanted to prevent the pet rabbit abandonment cycle and save as many as he could. Now the bunnies help people during their darkest times and you can spend some quality time with these sweet furry friends.
Music by the Ferns family in New Hampshire that chooses love and has performed at previous Choose Love celebrations will delight and lead into our birthday bash headliner, Doug Allen.
Doug Allen is a Nashville singer/songwriter, originally from Darien, CT. Doug has been a friend of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement and has performed every year for our fundraisers. Doug has a new single out “My World’s Better When I Know You’re In It.”
