Students explore Forgiveness through Poetry

Aug 20, 2020 | Choose Love in Action

Last year as part of our Choose Love Awareness Month initiative, we held a nationwide poetry contest. Students from all over sent in their poems on the Choose Love Formula with many choosing to express what forgiveness means to them. Here are some of our favorites:

Help Yourself
Kindness is the best
You should forgive and forget
Help you and others

To hate is easy, to forgive is divine
forgiveness is key
the key to living an ordinary life
how could thee not forgive
to thee is thy love
and to love thy you must forgive thee
And to love thy you must
For forgiveness is the most powerful magic of all
And for love that’s the most used drug of them all

Forgive and forget let go
And grow
Love is a choice
So use your voice
Your future is your path
So it’s your duty to pass
