PTSD vs. PTG

Almost everyone has heard of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the vast majority of us experience something called post-traumatic growth (PTG) following difficulty or trauma. PTG is when we are strengthened through our experience and learn valuable lessons that translate into personal growth. While most people have never heard of PTG, we know when we are aware of something, we experience the benefits exponentially.
We all feel pain (physical, mental, emotional) which can provide a tremendous opportunity for growth. In fact, there are decades of scientific research showing the benefits of Post Traumatic Growth can include a greater appreciation of life, closer relationships, change of priorities and more.
Interestingly, the top 5 regrets of the dying are neutralized by the top 5 benefits of PTG!
Choosing Love can help people experience PTG through teaching how to have healthy relationships, being open to experiences and accepting that though you cannot control what happens to you, you can control how you respond.
We’re all the same as human beings in the want and need to love and be loved (connection and belonging). Mindful strengthening of our positivity has dramatic benefits for us in so many ways! Including making us happier. This is also another thing we all have in common – we all want to be happy!

The Choose Love Programs teach:

We can’t always choose what happens, but we can always choose how we respond. We can always respond with love. This is when we take our personal power and control back!
Want to live your life without regrets? Be present and Choose Love.
