Dr. Roy Lubit

Roy Lubit MD, Ph.D. has advanced training in psychiatry and political science, and has worked as a business consultant.  He is board certified in Psychiatry, in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and in Forensic Psychiatry.

He earned a Ph.D. in political science at Harvard studying organizational behavior and then became a consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers Organizational Change Practice.  He has published pieces in the business literature, most notably, on the impact of narcissistic managers.  More recently he has lectured and published about emotional trauma, emotional intelligence, and about the importance of social and emotional learning programs in schools.

Through his work in psychiatry, organizational behavior and the impact of narcissistic individuals on organizations and families, he has come believe that social and emotional education in schools is vital to decrease the high levels of emotional trauma, depression, anxiety, anti-social behavior and personality disorders currently existing in our society.  These problems impair work productivity, relationships, and parenting, leading to the intergenerational transmission of trauma. He is finishing a book on Advanced Emotional Intelligence Skills.

Currently, his work with the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation focuses on facilitating research and new connections for the foundation.
