This Valentine’s Day special event is part of our Choose Love Awareness Month, the annual campaign to spread awareness of the Choose Love Movement. This year’s theme is Love-in-Action focusing on how we can use positive action, i.e. walking, meditating, helping others, to overcome negative feelings, i.e. anxiety, embarrassment, anger. Highlights include an art contest for students, a kickoff event for kids, and a parent workshop. Each week in February highlights a pillar of the Choose Love Formula – Courage, Gratitude, Forgiveness, Compassion-in-Action, and includes the benefits of each plus tips on how to incorporate these character values into real life situations every day.
