Choose Love is celebrating Courage this month! Every week we will be posting an activity that will help you exercise and strengthen your courage muscle.
Week One Courage Challenge…
Make a Courage Board.
Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. – Jack Canfield
Creating a Courage Board will feed your brain with enCOURAGEment!
Step One:
What words does courage mean to you?
What words or phrases do you think describe courage?
What people, real or fictional, do you think are brave?
What makes them brave?
Is there a poem or saying that gives you courage?
Step Two:
Use paper or poster board for your courage board and start with words or images that gives you strength. Include the most compelling words, phrases, poems or sayings on your board. You can hand write them or clip them from newspapers or magazines.
Step Three:
Add pictures. You can use your own pictures or photos from magazines or comic books. You can even draw your own pictures and add designs.
Make your courage board simple yet powerful, or extravagant with lots of words and pictures.
Step Four:
Display your courage board in a place where you can see it every day. Near your bed or in your bathroom is a great place that you will see before you go to bed and when you wake up to give you inspiration. Say the words to give you the extra reinforcement and take a moment to reflect.
