I’m the founder of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement and I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am that you are checking out the Choose Love Movement.
After my six-year-old son was murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School, I woke up to the importance of really being a part of the whole process of keeping kids safe. I took a little bit of a different approach. I focused on the root cause of the suffering that leads to diseases of despair because we can reduce and prevent the suffering before it starts. That is what Choose Love is all about.
Everyone wants to love and be loved, and we know that our kids are going to also feel hurt and pain – physically, mentally, emotionally. Unfortunately it’s part of the human experience and we need to fortify them with skills and tools to be able to learn from it, grow through it, and be strengthened by it.
The amazing thing is I didn’t have these skills and tools when I started Choose Love. I learned them by helping create this programming and my life is exponentially better so this can also help you.
We have programs for families that correlate with what kids are being taught in school. Check them out and give some feedback. Get involved! The opposite of anxiety is positive action and there is something that we can all do to make the world a better place.
Let’s face it we want to leave the world better for our kids. We could do better than what we’re doing right now. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for checking this out. Reach out to me if you have any questions. I have been focused on this for 10 years and I will continue until our kids are safe, seen, and celebrated. That is our priority. Thank you so much for choosing love!
