Think Tank with Scarlett Lewis - Tapping for Mental Health Action Day
The Choose Love Movement has partnered with MTV to promote Mental Health Action Day (MHAD) on May 15, 2025. Choose Love is opening up our Think Tank with Scarlett Lewis, a member-only, lively monthly discussion where guests share ideas, stories, concerns and ask questions.
This month will focus on mental health, and Dr. Maria Ortner, Global Director for the Tapping Solution and Choose Love Board Member, will be a special guest to discuss the benefits of tapping and lead the group through a tapping exercise.
Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), is a powerful, holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
After Scarlett’s son, Jesse, was killed at Sandy Hook, Tapping helped her healing journey, and has helped millions of individuals around the globe overcome their physical, mental or emotional pain and take their personal power back. It’s a great self-regulation technique for people of all ages.
Take charge of your mental health by showing up and experiencing it for yourself. Join us and Dr. Maria Ortner, on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00pm EDT.
Mental Health Action Day encourages and empowers everyone to take action for themselves, and their family, friends and even in their community, and to inspire and empower people to support emotional well-being and in doing so, shift our mental health culture from awareness to action.
Choose Love is dedicated to providing proactive and preventative mental health initiatives with programs teaching children and adults essential life skills in schools, homes and communities. We are committed to creating a safer and more loving world.
