Choose Love 30 Days of Gratitude 2024

Oct 24, 2024 | 30 Days of Gratitude, For Educators, General

Gratitude is mindful thankfulness even when things are challenging.

Choose Love is celebrating its 6th Annual 30 Days of Gratitude with daily tips and activities throughout November to inspire people to live a more fulfilling life through gratitude by expressing thankfulness and appreciation toward yourself, others, people, places, or things.

30 Days of Gratitude challenges will be posted on Choose Love’s social media daily and encourage everyone to share, like and follow to help raise awareness of the Choose Love Movement.

The first day of the 30 Days of Gratitude is to define gratitude:  Gratitude is mindful thankfulness and the ability to be thankful even when things in life are challenging.

“We are empowering schools, parents and communities across the country to be part of the solution, and help create a more peaceful community by sharing our 30 Days of Gratitude campaign. We’re asking everyone to embrace being mindful of the all the good in their lives and being more thankful. By Choosing Love, we can create a ripple effect that will make a difference in our lives and of those around us,” stated Scarlett Lewis, Chief Movement Officer of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement.

Purchases made on the Choose Love Online Store allows us to keep programs for schools at no cost.

30 Days of Gratitude Toolkit

Educators, parents and community leaders can plan ahead with the 30 Days of Gratitude toolkit at no cost.

Gratitude Postcard Writing Challenge

Jesse Saperstein is a 42-year-old man on the autism spectrum who started a postcard writing hobby. He has written postcards to close family members, obscure relatives, friends, co-workers, and even long-lost acquaintances as a way to express gratitude and compassion.

One of the recipients of Jesse’s letters was Scarlett Lewis. Being moved by Jesse’s heroism, he sent 352 elaborate postcards that typically started with “Dear Jesse…”

Our challenge to you is to write a postcard to let someone know you are thankful for having them in your life. Use our Choose Love postcards from our online store or use your own. A printable postcard template is also available in our no-cost Gratitude toolkit. (All proceeds support Choose Love no cost programs.)
